Men's Rowing Team
The Men's Rowing Team took the water at the Eastern Sprints in Worcester, Massachusetts this weekend. They had a respectable performance as both the varsity eight and the second varsity eight qualified for the Grand Final. Harvard was the most successful team of the day but The Orange didn't come away empty handed. Syracuse won the Varsity/Freshman Heavyweight Four race over Northeaster, Harvard, MIT, and Holy Cross.
The Orange will race again on Sunday, May 22nd at its home boathouse. Dartmouth will head to the Onondoga Lake Outlet as the two schools race for the Packard Cup.
Women's Rowing Team
The Women's Rowing Team also competed in the Eastern Sprints but in Camden, New Jersey. The Women weren't as successful as the men, but the varsity eight, second varsity eight, and the varsity four all reached the petite finals, but with little success. The varsity eight finished fourth in its petite final, which was the best of the day for the Orange.
